Visakhapatnam Karur Vysya Bank has extended support as a part of its CSR initiative to an integrated geriatric and palliative care facility here.
A sum of Rs 1.60 crore has been sanctioned to Sneha Sandhya Age Care Foundation towards construction of a block to take care of elderly and terminally ill patients. B Ramesh Babu, MD and CEO of Karur Vysya Bank handed over a DD for Rs 50 lakh to the trustees of Sneha Sandhya Age Care Foundation. This was the second tranche of funds released to the foundation. The first tranche of Rs 24 lakh was released in March.
